What actually lands in your inbox
This is the template, with a made-up day of screenshots. The same model that'll summarise yours wrote the prose below, so the shape is accurate. The words will be different.
Your Daily Digest
Nine captures today. A lot of reading, a trip slowly taking shape, and one tweet thread you were tagged in.
Reading list
- Arctic sea ice is melting faster than the models predicted — Longreads, about 22 min. You grabbed it mid-scroll on Bluesky.
- Why good UIs are boring — short essay from Frank Chimero. Worth the 6 minutes.
Food
Smitten Kitchen's miso-glazed salmon. Sheet pan, 25 minutes, serves four. You had the tab open for a while.
Shopping
- Anglepoise Original 1227 Mini, the matte black one. $320 on Amazon, $285 direct from Anglepoise. Same lamp, same colour.
Travel
Toronto → Lisbon, late September. Air Canada direct is showing $810 return, down from the $990 you were looking at last week. You also screenshotted a walking map of Alfama — worth saving for when you actually book.
Out and about
- Rattlesnake Point loop — 5.2 km, moderate, from AllTrails. Parking fills up early on weekends.
- Phoebe Bridgers at Massey Hall, September 12. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 AM.
Social
A Twitter thread from Amy on the best new coffee shops in Toronto. Five spots, tagged below so you don't have to reopen the app:
- Cafe Caps — Parkdale, pour-over.
- Sam James — new Dundas West branch.
- Ally — Kensington, rotating single origins.
- Goldstruck — Liberty Village.
- Propeller — East Chinatown.
Screenshots
In your real digest, these are thumbnails of the actual screenshots you captured — tap any one to open the full image.
A few things worth noting
- The grouping is automatic. You don't tag anything. The model reads each screenshot and decides which category it belongs in.
- Prices and specs are pulled from the screenshot itself, not from a live lookup. If the price changes after you capture it, the digest still shows what you saw.
- Anything flagged as sensitive is never in here. Passwords, bank details, medical screens, government IDs — those get dropped before storage. You won't see them in your digest.
- Quiet days stay quiet. No captures, no email.
